October is here, and it brings us the mesmerizing Opal, our CRYSTAL OF THE MONTH, known as The Symphony of Colors. Opals are famed for their ability to contain a whirlwind of fiery colors, symbolizing hope, creativity, and the expression of the full spectrum of one's emotions.

Opals are particularly interesting because they can exhibit a phenomenon known as 'play-of-color', where internal fractures cause the stone to display multiple colors that shimmer and shift under the light. This makes each Opal unique, with a personal touch that resonates deeply with its owner.

The stone is traditionally associated with protection, loyalty, and faithfulness, making it a prized gift between lovers. In Australian Aboriginal lore, the creator came down to Earth on a rainbow, leaving these colorful stones where his feet touched the ground.
